Summer 2015 Volunteer Assignment - December 15, 2014

Woohoo! Earlier this week I was approved for the summer 2015 volunteer assignment I sought in Colorado at Dinosaur National Monument. I last visited the monument in 1973 while hitchhiking throughout the West.

I am really excited.to move to this high desert location with its extensive hiking and white water rafting opportunities. The picture below on the left is the view about 3/4s of a mile downriver from the Ladore Canyon Campground where I'll be headquartered from May to September.
